I am an out-of-network, cash-pay provider and do not accept insurance.
However, I can provide a medical receipt (called a Superbill) for you to provide to your insurance company for reimbursement should you have out-of-network benefits. You are also welcome to use your HSA card to pay for sessions.
I encourage you to contact your insurance company to determine whether you have out-of-network benefits and what percentage will be reimbursed once you meet your deductible. I cannot guarantee reimbursement from your insurance company and the full-fee is required at each session. -
No, sessions are exclusively virtual.
The best part about this is that you can be anywhere in Minnesota! It also makes sessions easy to work into your day - no commute time needed! -
Unfortunately, no. Therapists are only able to provide services in the state that they are licensed in and I am only licensed in Minnesota.

Online therapy looks really similar to regular therapy, but from the comfort of your own space. Most clients love it and the flexibility it brings with it (no travel time!). You can do sessions from work or home - anywhere in MN where you have solid Wi-Fi and a private space where you’re the only one in the room and no one will walk in.

Start by emailing me, either directly or through the contact form here, and giving me just a brief idea of what’s bringing you to therapy. This helps ensure a good fit.
If you’re unsure and want to set up a brief phone call to assess fit that way, that’s no problem. When you email me, give me several windows you may be available and we’ll set up a time.
Once we’ve decided to schedule, I will get your birthdate and phone number to set you up with portal access. This is where we’ll do our sessions and where I’ll send all the new client paperwork.
You’ll be charged for that first session when we book it (later sessions are only charged the day they occur), and I’ll ask that you get that paperwork back to me at least 24 hours before our session starts so I have a chance to review it it so we can hit the ground running. -
When we schedule the first session, I will send you a text from a HIPAA-compliant credit card platform called Ivy Pay. You will follow the link, entering in your credit card info. You will be charged for the first session when we book it; your credit card info will be securely stored on file and charged the day of session for any future appointments.

It totally depends!
I meet with the majority of clients weekly or every other week. I recommend, when possible, we meet weekly for at least the first 4 weeks to help establish a good foundation. That being said, we'll chat about how often sessions should happen to match what works best for you. And as we go along, we'll keep checking in to make sure it's still working for you and your needs.
When it comes to how long you'll be in therapy, the great part is that it's all about what works best for YOU. Some clients are here to create a long-term therapeutic relationship and others might prefer a more short-term approach.
